More Information

Choosing a shunting vehicle

The battery-powered ROTRAC E1, E2 and E4 cover different trailing-load classes. The road/rail Unimog combines shunting with the equipment-carrier concept. The ROTRAC RR range includes heavy shunting vehicles with diesel or electric drives; the RRe is battery-powered.

Maximum trailing load is a starting point for comparison, not a complete vehicle specification. For an enquiry, describe the wagons and loads to be moved, operating routes, gradients, available space, coupling and braking requirements, and daily operating pattern. For battery-powered vehicles, include the available charging arrangements.

These details allow the team to assess a suitable vehicle and configuration. Consult the technical brochures and discuss your application before making a model selection.
